My recent stay at Dorint in Weimar exceeded all my expectations. The hotel's prime location at the entrance of the UNESCO-listed Park a der Ilm provided a picturesque setting for my architectural exploration of the city. The spa facilities, including the Finnish sauna and steam bath, were a luxurious retreat after a day of sightseeing. The spacious room was immaculately clean and offered a comfortable sitting area where I could unwind and plan my next day's adventures.I was pleasantly surprised by the receptionist's thoughtful gesture of offering a choice between room cleaning and drinks at the bar, showcasing a level of personalized service rarely encountered. The delightful breakfast buffet, with its wide variety of delicious options and efficient table turnover, set the perfect tone for each morning. Despite a slight hiccup in understanding the room cleaning request, the staff's swift response in providing fresh towels exemplified their dedication to guest satisfaction.the well-kept property, central location, and friendly staff made my stay truly memorable. The ease of walking to nearby historic sites and restaurants added to the convenience and charm of the hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dorint to anyone looking for a seamless blend of modern amenities and historic charm in the heart of Weimar.
